Members can also participate in the ride (virtually or in person), and volunteer across the state for the event.

IOP Beach Sweeps

The South Carolina Aquarium and Isle of Palms (IOP) Clean Up Crew host weekly beach clean ups on the Isle of Palms beach:

  • Every other Monday beginning March 10, 2025 through May 26, 2025 and

  • Every Monday from June 2, 2025 through September 1, 2025.

South Carolina Federal Credit Union employees participate beach sweeps, picking up trash and submitting the information for the South Carolina Aquarium Conservation Team. Members also have the opportunity to volunteer to keep the beach free of litter.

2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s

South Carolina Federal Credit Union employees will walk in the following Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s events:

  • Greenville: October 4

  • Spartanburg: October 25

  • Charleston: October 26

Members can also participate in 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s events.

Founded in 1983, Lowcountry Food Bank strives to fulfill its mission to lead the fight against hunger throughout the 10 coastal counties of South Carolina. Headquartered in Charleston, Lowcountry Foodbank also has a Southern Regional Distribution Center in Yemassee and a Northern Regional Distribution Center in Myrtle Beach.

 South Carolina Federal Credit Union employees in Charleston and Myrtle Beach volunteer monthly, every second Wednesday.

Harvest Hope began in 1981 as the result of a shared vision of business leaders and the faith community, who set out to provide for the hungry in Columbia. Since then, Harvest Hope has increased its mission to feed the hungry across 20 counties in South Carolina.
